Convoy Technologies CEO and Co-Founder Blake Gasca to Speak at the 2015 NPGA Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo
Newport Beach, CA, March 31, 1015...Convoy Technologies, specialists in the design and manufacturing of commercial and military vehicle technology intended at help minimize accidents, injuries and economic losses, announced that CEO and co-founder Blake Gasca will speak at the NPGA (National Propane Gas Association) 2015 Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo. The presentation will take place on April 12, at 10:15 am EST in the Innovation Pavilion at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, GA. The 3-day Expo will be held from April 11 through 13. Billed as the largest propane industry show in the United States, with more than 30 countries represented, the Expo brings together industry experts from approximately 25 companies and 3,000 attendees.
Mr. Gasca's speech, "How technology and the Internet of things (Iot) will improve fleets' safety, security and productivity", will focus on the ways in which Convoy Technologies' VIDEOMATICS™ cloud-based software and hardware system assists propane gas distributors prevent accidents, eliminate cargo theft and maximize worker productivity. VIDEOMATICS integrates driver behavior software and telematics (GPS and routing) with live and recorded video from around and inside a vehicle. Convoy Technologies' platform operates in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery model to ensure ongoing accountability for software performance and service. VIDEOMATICS software is available for PCs, and mobile applications on tablets and smartphones. The iOS App can be downloaded through the Apple App Store.
Mr. Gasca successfully steered Convoy Technologies from a start-up to an award-winning tech company with a triple-digit annual growth-rate since its inception in 2008. His expertise includes operations management, mobile technology, strategic planning and IT solutions. Mr. Gasca earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, CA, where he majored in information systems quantitative management and international business.
